Driving Simulator
Test drives no longer have to be carried out exclusively on real roads. A state-of-the-art simulation environment with dynamic driving simulators enables virtual driving under realistic conditions. Driving dynamics, comfort, and handling are digitally reproduced, experienced directly by test drivers, and systematically optimised. Even complex manoeuvres can be tested precisely and repeatedly — without physical prototypes, weather-related risks, or complex test-track logistics. The range of applications is broad: it includes virtual prototype validation, testing of handling behaviour, steering, ride comfort, and NVH, as well as testing of autonomous and assisted driving functions, functional safety, HMI, and lighting. This is complemented by specialised test sessions for tyres, motorsport, test participant studies, and seat evaluation.
