Assessing the substances emitted by materials used in vehicle interiors is essential for ensuring compliance with statutory environmental requirements and maintaining a healthy cabin environment. Our emissions testing helps ensure that these requirements are reliably met and that environmental impact is kept as low as possible. We use a broad range of methods, including gas chromatography-mass spectrometry with thermal desorption and headspace analysis, high-performance liquid chromatography including HPLC-MS, and gravimetric and reflectometric fogging tests. This is complemented by emissions measurements in SHED chambers under controlled conditions and sensory testing to assess odour and surface quality.
